메모리 스틱 듀오와 SDHC 카드에 동시에 대응하는 듀얼 슬롯, HDMI 출력, 2.7인치 디스플레이 등 기본적으로 지금까지의 알파 모델들과 동일한 사양을 답습하고 있으며, 상위 기종인 α390는 틸트식 디스플레이를 갖추고 퀵 AF 라이브뷰에 대응하는 점이 특징입니다. 현재 출시 중인 α380 / α230과 비교했을 때 성능 면에서 변화가 그다지 없어(α230은 1020만 화소) 그립이나 버튼 주변부 등 디자인만 살짝 변경된 업그레이드라는 평도 있습니다. 해외에서는 올 여름 중 출시될 예정이며 곧 국내에서도 발표될 것으로 보입니다.
리코가 이번에는 GXR라는 이름의 신제품을 발표했습니다. 기존의 DSLR이 렌즈를 교환하는 방식이었던데 비해, GXR은 렌즈와
(CCD나 CMOS 등의) 촬영소자, 화상처리엔진이 일체화 된 '유닛'을 통째로 교체하는 방식으로 되어있으며, 리코는 이를
'유닛 교환식 카메라'라고 칭하고 있습니다.
거꾸로 말하면, DSLR의 바디의 역할은 촬영소자, 화상처리엔진,
미러, 디스플레이, 배터리 등의 공유인데 비해, GXR의 바디의 역할은 디스플레이와 배터리의 공유 정도로 한정되어 있다고 볼 수
있습니다. 슬램덩크의 유명한 대사를 빌리자면 "본체는 거들 뿐"이랄까요. 보도자료에서는 '각 장면에 대응하는 최적의 조합으로
촬영할 수 있다'던가 '렌즈 교환이 손쉽고, 화질이 좋으며 기동성이 좋다'고 강조하곤 있지만 개인적으로 가격대 성능비에 대해선
다소 걱정이 앞섭니다
바디는 기본적으로 GR 시리즈와 크게 다르지 않습니다. 디스플레이는 92만 화소 3인치. 외장 플래시와 뷰 파인더는 별매. 대응
메모리는 SD/SDHC 카드. 크기는 113.9 x 70.2 x 28.9mm, 무게는 160g로서, 사실 대부분의 기능이 유닛에
들어있기 때문에 크기는 몰라도 무게는 별 의미가 없을지도 모르겠습니다. 예상 가격은 5만엔(60만원 중반대) 정도.
